‘Re-discovering Me after ADHD Diagnosis‘
Cheyanne Carter has been in the educational sector for 10+ years, holding various roles including Service Manager, Educational Leader and Lead in Technology Implementation.
In 2021 Cheyanne was a member of CSIRO’s STEM Professionals in Schools Program, supporting teachers to implement STEM based practices in learning. During the pandemic she designed a digital learning strategy to support children in Early Learning, this strategy was implemented in over 150 Early Learning Centres around Australia and is still being used today.
Being late diagnosed, Cheyanne is using her first-hand experiences and knowledge in child development to design learning programs and trainings for both Early Learning Centres and Schools.
Cheyanne holds a Diploma in Early Education and Care, and is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Education. Since discovering her diagnosis, Cheyanne began using her teaching skills on social media to educate others about the biological differences in the ADHD person, and how we can use what we learn to improve our quality of life.
