Jo Prestia is an Education Consultant and teacher with a Bachelor of Education, a Masters in Educational Leadership and a Post Grad in Education Research. She has over 30 years teaching and leadership experience. Jo currently works at ACU teaching Foundation Studies to international students and as a Tertiary Supervisor, supporting pre-service teachers. She also works at Monash University as a Teaching Associate (Faculty of Education). Previous to this, Jo worked as a mentor and coach with Student Academic Success at Monash. She facilitates workshops for educational conferences, prepares and delivers professional development programs for many schools. Jo’s expertise includes Diverse Needs, Boys’ Education, Differentiation, Engagement & Learning. She also maintains an education blog ‘Smart is Cool’.
