Her personal research aims to improve the outcomes of children with ADHD by examining the use of an alternative ADHD parenting framework.
As a tireless ADHD advocate, Lou has presented ADHD workshops and spoken at conferences on ADHD all around Australia and in the UK. She is often consulted to provide consumer input into ADHD initiatives and has collaborated with the Australian National ADHD Consumer Forum, ADHD Australia, Parents for ADHD Advocacy Australia, and the ADHD Foundation Australia, in both paid and unpaid projects. Additionally, Lou has appeared in multiple television interviews and online and print publications, sharing her lived and clinical experience with the aim of fostering understanding and awareness around ADHD.
In this talk, Lou will discuss raising kids to become, or becoming a self-aware, self-accepting and empowered person with ADHD who thrives.
