I recently had the great pleasure of not only being interviewed on the radio by the incredible Rae Bonney, but I had an entire show dedicated to me. I’m really still trying to get my mind around that as I didn’t think I was that interesting.
Nevertheless, this was such a huge honour and I absolutely loved every minute of it. I got to talk about many different things to do with special needs and about my own experiences as a mother and working in the field.
Rae is not only a brilliant radio personality but she does absolutely amazing work in the field of mental health. And has achieved so much good and helped so many people, I was truly honoured that she asked me to appear on her show.

I hope you enjoyed listening to the show. Rae and I met back in 2017 when I was a guest on a different radio show called On The Spectrum, presented by Jeremy Samson and Dougal Austin. I’ve been fortunate enough to be a guest on that show a few times now and thoroughly enjoy it every time.
After meeting Rae, I was so taken aback by the fantastic work she does I asked her if she would open the My Special Child Conference in Knox, to which she kindly agreed. I was then both shocked and honoured to be asked to do this interview on her weekly radio show, Presenting Rae Bonney.
It was great to chat about many different things to do with Special Needs, as well as getting the chance to talk a little about myself, my kids and my hobbies, as well as the work I do with My Special Child.
The interview went so quickly I think we could have chatted for hours if we’d had time.
