‘Understanding ADHD beyond the DSM-5’
Sandhya Menon (she/her) is an Autistic/ADHDer Developmental Psychologist running Onwards and Upwards Psychology, an organisation that focuses on clinician, parent and teacher training on neurodivergent affirming approaches. Sandhya is a sought-after public speaker speaking an international conferences on autism and ADHD, around the country to clinics and schools and recently being flown to Malaysia to educate staff on neuro-affirming practices. As a visual communicator and learner, Sandhya condenses complex information into simple ideas and injects colour into her resources and trainings which makes her speeches highly relatable and practical. She is most well known for her children’s books, The Brain Forest and The Rainbow Brain, to help further ideas of neurodiversity and celebrate neurodivergent identity.
